Travel photographs from the Loire Valley. This is a ‘short’ holiday this weekend as I gear up for another weekend of Open Studio! It can’t hurt to reminisce and share some pics from a lovely trip to visit Adelaide friends domiciled in France in 2010. A long way from the sea, just for a change.
The first three images were taken on a summer evening stroll.
Shades of the good old days when there was a lot of paint thrown about.
The view across the river in Gien.
Hope you enjoyed your short break!
The truth is out. I point and shoot, but the thought counts, right?
Will you keep us posted how your Open Studios go ? Very Well, I hope 🙂
Lovely… lovely, lovely, lovely!
will do! last weekend I had 16 and 18 visitors and this week I have a big red and white spotty feather flag from the local council. I may even cause a traffic jam on the Esplanade. thanks!
glad you like it Lois. It is a lovely part of the world.
Ah, la belle France – break a paintbrush for your repeat public appearance…
Ooh, that’s a new slant on an old saying clinock! 2 sessions to go. Not sure what tomorrow’s blog will hold! Have you found your pigments again?
