Lots of interesting reading out here so far this week. Not much writing from this quarter apart from conversations and comments. On the home front, some progress.
My apologies to Gerry McMahon for not acknowledging him in my previous post. Gerry is the Adelaide-based sculptor of the joyful work commemorating Kitty Whyte which was the subject for yarn bombers hit Brighton. If you visit his home page you will see a fascinating slide show of his metal sculptures. There is a quirkiness about many of them which makes me smile. See what you think!
an organised, tidy, inviting looking studio – bliss !
only just recently! but thanks for imagining that. Opening to the public next month (ulp). I need space for people and a little painting to be in progress too. tea and coffee or perhaps wine? It is a nice space though – my retreat under the house.
Build it and they will come…
Thanks clinock. good to hear from you. Field of dreams was an inspiring movie back then. Hope your immersion is going well. Sounds like a good idea to get back to creating. Soon!
