“Behind the scenes” month – April

I declare April to be “Behind the scenes” month!
Sure, it’s more than a few days in already, but that’s where the blog will take us for the next few weeks.

Remember the Mouseketeers? The bit that has stayed with me is “Anything-can-happen Day”. What a great idea!
I can’t remember much else except Jimmy’s big smile and Annette Funicello with ears on.
Apart from that I like the idea of themes, but for a month rather than a day. Time flies too quickly to fit it all into one day.

There have been a couple of recent articles with this theme – brush cleaning and ruminations on a recent outdoor painting.

Behind the scenes – what does it mean?

This month I plan to tell you more about what it is like to be an artist. Which is almost like “Anything-can-happen Day”.
Lots to look forward to. And that is a good feeling. Agree?

We will look behind the curtain at

  • painting clinics, and what emerged lately
  • materials – oils and acrylics
  • public art-speaking.

I hope you will join me!

AND, if there is anything you would like to add to the list, please add to the comments section below.
I would love to hear from you.

Cheers,

Philippa
